The research design used in this study was quasi-experimental in nature. The main study was conducted from July 2005 to August 2005. The sample of 100 clients with peptic ulcer who met the inclusion criteria were selected by using convenient sampling techniques. Demographic variables of clients with Peptic Ulcer were collected and they assessed their knowledge, attitude and practice by an interview schedule. Then the structured teaching programme was conducted and educational intervention module was distributed to the clients. After one week, a post-test was conducted.
