Syed Azher is the Head of Information Technology for Ibdar Bank BSC based in Bahrain. He has over a decade of experience in Information Technology with a focus on Banking, retail and Consulting domains with extensive experience in Project Management, Information Security, IT Audits, Systems Development, Business Process Re-engineering and Infrastructure.
He holds several professional certifications including Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute USA, Certified information security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT from ISACA USA, Information Technology Infrastructure Library Expert (ITIL Expert) and PRINCE2 practitioner from APMG, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from ECCOUNCIL and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor from British Standard Institute UK. He is a graduate of computer science from India, Master of Business Administration (MBA) from AIIM- International and Chifley Business School at Torrens University Australia and Prograduate Certificate in Business Administration and Information Technology from University of Wales, United Kingdom
