This paper deals with the effect of electricity on the economy of Nigeria.
To say that one of the major problems that hindered the process of development in Nigeria is the state of poor infrastructural facilities, is neither an over statement nor a criticism. It is a fact that is surrounded by evidences. It is reflected in almost all the sectors of the Nigerian economy and it is directly and indirectly affecting Global economy. This is because poor infrastructural facilities have systematically led to the present day under-development with the associated high unemployment level and poverty which has led to frustration and desperation.
